What are the Infinity Stones? What are there history? Who created the infinity stones? Where are they now? Today we are here to talk about them and speculate about Avengers Infinity War and what Thanos might do with the Infinity Gauntlet. As of right now, we know where the Tesseract or Space Stone, Time Stone, Realty Stone or Aether, Power Stone, and Mind Stone are located. The Space Stone was on Asgard and is now with Loki after Thor Ragnarok. The Mind Stone is inside Vision’s forehead while the Time Stone is inside the Eye of Agamotto protected by Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange. The Power Stone is protected by the Nova Corps on Xandar. Finally, the Collector is in the possession of the Aether aka Reality Stone over on Knowhere. Each of the stones is incredibly powerful and most of their powers haven’t been seen in the MCU. Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Infinity Stones, known as Infinity Gems in the comics, are six cosmic powerhouses, each with a specific power. When brought together into a glove known as the Infinity Gauntlet, the Stones give their user the power to reshape all of reality itself.
The Stones have played minor roles as MacGuffins in many Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and those assorted plot threads are all building up to Avengers: Infinity War, a film in which the ownership and location of the Infinity Stones will become vital to the safety of the Universe.
